Wear Your Pride

Pride day is a day to celebrate our community and our history. We want to show support for rainbow young people and to help foster a sense of belonging in schools and communities. Lets help to make Aotearoa a safer place for all rainbow young people to live and be in.

There are many ways to celebrate pride day!

Wear Your Pride – Mufti Day

A mufti day to celebrate ‘pride’, weather its pride in your community, pride in yourself, your culture or your Whanau. Pride is everywhere and it is worth celebrating.

You can use this as an opportuntity to raise money for InsideOUT or your local Community Org.

Rainbow Wears – Partly Mufti

Rock out in your Rainbows, paint flags on your cheeks, use pride pins or colourful hair ties. Find small ways to show you are proud of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Show off your rainbow items

Use social media to share your rainbow gear, edit and share images that show pride in the LGBTQIA+ community. You can be apart of Schools Pride Week in many ways. #schoolsprideweekNZ
