Community is Home Stickers
Introducing our Schools’ Pride Week Aotearoa 2026 stickers designed in collaboration with the wonderful Wiz Butch!
Our theme for SPWA this year is “Community is home”. Belonging can be those wee safe havens created with our chosen whānau, where we can be authentically and unapologetically ourselves, knowing we’ll be celebrated. The snail motif reminds us that as rainbow and takatāpui people, we bring our home with us wherever we go. This is a shout out to our the rangatahi from our community existing and making their homes whether they’re in the smallest regional towns or finding their way in a big city.

The “We Are Everywhere” slogan featured in this year’s sticker design is an affirmation of the resilience, whakapapa and diversity of Aotearoa’s rainbow communities.

Poho Kererū Stickers
In 2023, we collaborated with takatāpui artist and illustrator, Pounamu Wharekawa, to develop the designs for our stickers.
We worked closely with rangatahi and our takatāpui community to gather the Schools’ Pride Week Aotearoa campaign around the te reo Māori kīwaha (colloquial saying) ‘Poho Kererū’.
Poho Kererū’ is often adapted in inspired English as meaning ‘full of pride or ‘puffed up with pride’.
Stickers are ordered in sets of 10 sheets, with each sheet containing 11 stickers in different indentities pride flag colours and measure 68mm by 68mm on gorgeous glossy sticker paper!
The stickers are free, but a koha/donation is appreciated where possible to help us cover postage and coordination costs.
